Editorial: Special Issue “Promoting STEAM in Education”

Lately STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art/aesthetics/architecture/all, mathematics) education has become a common notion. Yet, the theoretical and practical perspectives on STEAM, from its nature to classroom applications implementation in teacher have unexamined potential. This special issue grew out of International LUMAT Research Symposium “Promoting Education” that took place at University Helsinki, Finland June 2020. With challenges organizing an online symposium midst COVID-19 pandemic, had significant advantages. The drew international scholars inviting multitude prospective education, while uncovering faced by educators. aims examining these through collection papers. In this editorial, we introduce some key notions, discourses, as relatively novel concept briefly discuss history evolution over last decades. We also problematize roots asking question: What is “A” representing?
